There's Always Room For Corporate Welfare!
Stossel at TownHall:
During the "fiscal cliff" negotiations that Congress and the media made sound so tough -- as if every last penny were pinched -- Congress still managed to slip in plenty of special deals for cronies.--NASCAR got $70 million for new racetracks.
--Algae growers got $60 million.
--Hollywood film producers got a $430 million tax break.
Hollywood film producers got a $430 million tax break.
Remember that the next time some Hollywood name whines that s/he's not paying enough taxes...

Or films a movie in Louisiana instead of California or New York because of tax breaks.

So help me out here - these are three different types of slime that feed on the same substance.
Do they share a phylum or a family or a genus or what?

Well one I heard today is a bipartisan congressional proposal to give a $10K check to help unemployed people to move for getting a new job.
So if you move from OK to TX and can't find a job do you still qualify? What about if you go without a job offer? What if you are fired after a month? What if you move and leave the family back in your house -- do you still qualify?

And what if you move to Nevada and spend the money on casinos, drugs and whores?
Sounds like another pretext for transferring money from the hated bourgeoisie (the middle class) to the "proletariat" (Democrat voters and big corporations).
