One would like to believe that any college student found responsible for sexual assault was actually responsible for the crime. But far too often on college campuses, students are being branded as rapists because of campus kangaroo courts that ignore due process and, under pressure from the government, find students responsible regardless of the evidence.
Now, Congresswoman Jackie Speier, D-Calif., says she plans to introduce legislation that would ensure colleges and universities are made aware when a transferring student has been found responsible for sexual assault or sexual harassment.
Venker adds: “Many women have been raised to think of men as the enemy. It’s precisely this dynamic — women good, men bad — that has destroyed the relationship between the sexes.” Further, Venker says, “after decades of browbeating, men are tired; tired of being told there’s something fundamentally wrong with them. Tired of being told that if women aren’t happy, it’s their fault. The rise of women has not threatened men; it has irritated them.
This aligns with the views of many liberal feminists ... it won't be long before feminists are openly advocating compulsory covering for women in the US too.

@Bob In Texas: One thing you _cannot_ do with a .50 caliber rifle is bring down helicopters. It uses the same cartridges as many WWII antiaircraft weapons, but those were belt-fed machine guns that had to be disassembled before men could carry them.
You can damage aircraft on the ground and other non-moving or slow moving ground targets with a .50 rifle, but this rifle is heavy, long, and awkward. You cannot slew the muzzle around fast enough to shoot at aircraft. Not even helicopters; they can move considerably slower than fixed wing craft, but they become unstable if you try to keep them hovering in one place for more than a few seconds. Nor does hovering in one place fit any military mission profile; they'll swoop into a landing, and only lose their airspeed for the last few feet of descent, and similarly they build up horizontal speed as soon after takeoff as possible.
There is a second problem with using a .50 or any other semi-automatic rifle for antiarcraft fire; aiming by eye at an aircraft in flight is well-nigh impossible. You don't peer through the sights and shoot; that will place the bullets far behind the target. At most angles, the lead angle required is so great you can't even see the muzzle and the target at the same time. Shooting at helicopters requires a machine gun, mounted on a tripod or vehicle mount that takes the weight and recoil so all the gunner has to worry about is aim. Furthermore, it needs either tracer bullets so you can visually steer the column of bullets ahead of the target, or radar and a targeting computer linked to servomotors to aim the gun, reducing the gunner to just picking targets for a robot.
