Tried to get into the basketball piece, but it's not possible. These guys went to college for free but spent their time playing basketball. Now they're obviously having spoken interviews transcribed. Are we surprised these attempts at narrative are unreadable?
The vast majority of those targeted were young white girls but teenagers from the Asian community also fell victim.
Asian is a weasel term the British media uses to cover up the ethnicity of the criminals in order to avoid being labeled Islamophobic.

Gangs of far-left communist men roam around London attacking people like Tommy Robinson & the police refuse to act. No arrests. Didn't even bother checking CCTV. The UK is a disaster.

Steve Francis should have taken more away from Hakeem Olajuwon than just the name of a tailor; perhaps a lesson or two in grace and humility.
Nowadays, they don't even spend a year in college. It's all one-and-done, an attitude that is destroying not only college basketball, the professional game as well - and the young men in both.
Young men go to college for a basketball season, attract the attention of NBA scouts and declare for the draft. When the don't get drafted, they're no longer eligible to play the college game and get sent home.
Steve Kerr, sanctimonious coach of the Golden State Warriors, wants to fix that problem by forcing the NCAA take the players back for another year of basketball.
Jeff van Gundy, coach of the Detroit Pistons agrees, calling the NCAA racist because professional baseball and hockey allow young men to play their game right out of high school, but those kids are mostly white. (Has he seen a baseball game lately?) And a college version of both sports is available - subject to the same rules that basketball players have to follow.
Both coaches are ignoring the fact that the NBA could solve the problem with improvements to its developmental league. But that would cost money, money the league does not want to spend. Professional baseball and hockey spend money on developmental leagues - that's how their players go straight from high school to professional sport.
Another problem is that an outstanding player in the D-League does not get attention from the media or scouts or a high draft status. An outstanding player who blows off his college classes and pulls a one-and-done gets all those things, plus a huge signing bonus. Which path to the NBA do you think a high school student wants to follow.
The whole one-and-done has become mechanized. Lonzo Ball, former basketball player and now a professional loudmouth, has blatantly said his kids will go one-and-done to the NBA. He pulled his son, LiAngelo, from UCLA when he was suspended for shoplifting in China. It seems you can't go one-and-done if you can't get the one in.
The University of Kentucky is facing probable NCAA suspension for its coach, John Calipari, wholeheartedly embracing the one-and-done mentality, acting as if his players were semi-pro players and ignoring blatant NCAA rules violations. Calipari, on the other hand, is looking at a coaching gig in the NBA.
Mike Krzyzewski, legendary head basketball coach at Duke University, has embraced the one-and-done mentality. Duke University used to have standards, but winning basketball games counts for more these days.
Winning, these days, means more than the moral and ethical development of young men. No wonder we're dealing with the fall-out of all the Harvey Weinsteins and Martin Shkrelis we've created.

I admire Martin Shkreli. Not entirely, but about as much as I dislike him. Everyone in the world thinks his prosecution is a strike against the annoying shitheel of their 8th grade class...
But that shitheel is in the White House now.
Shkreli played the game as he found it. He pushed too hard once, but he wasn't notably deviant.

If you want to be president and you didn't lie, you take the DNA test and put the rumors to rest. If you know you'll fail, you announce you're not running, at least until you can find a noble reason to run that makes the argument that you lied about your ancestry moot.
"And never used it for anything. Never got any benefit from it anywhere,” Warren said of her ancestry on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
