Big News I Sent Out With My Syndicated Column This Week
Here's a screenshot. I'm off to day three of this incredible training.
Gregg is at my place all day dogsitting -- aka being taken advantage of by my dog -- as Aida, my wee Chinese crested, is never alone for a whole day or very long at all. #authorsdog
This is great news! Once you get into it, I hope you'll write some case studies.

Thanks so much, Cousin Dave! Actually, mediation is confidential, but I think I can talk about it in general. Learning so much. The people training us are really fantastic, and I love my fellow trainees.
After the training sessions, I do 160 hours of supervised volunteer mediation, and then, get observed and certified (I would hope). After that, I'd like to do my volunteer mediation sessions closer to home. This also gives me a way to earn a living if things get really scary. You don't need to lift heavy boxes or anything. You just need to be good at mediating, creative, and wise. So, basically, even if I were just a head (at 90 or something), they could roll in the head and let me do my thing!

It's been amazing. Just back from day three. The people training us are having us do a lot of roleplaying. There's a lot to remember -- how to talk, how to reframe, what to say, how to work out problems -- and we get confused and make mistakes. But it's basically okay to do that -- they help us and correct us.
This is one of the most amazing opportunities of my life -- no exaggeration.
