Funny Video.
Jim Acosta was called out on his lack of professionalism last year by the WaPo, of all people.
He should never get back into the WH again because he is a rude asshole who thinks HE is the star of the show. He isn't. The Star of the Show is the President, no matter who it might be.
Maybe Acosta thinks that. No one else does and he should take his act to a more appropriate environment.
And if CNN continues to defend him, they don't need a reporter in the WH press conference either. There are 50 other reporters in there who can get the news, most of whom are not loud mouthed, grandstanding unprofessionals.

ORANGE MAN BAD

The President isn't exactly a walking example of decorum.
Amy Alkon at November 10, 2018 12:46 PM
No he's not. However, a "walking example of decorum" might not be what we need right now. Perhaps a Queens street fighter is what we need - whether as a shining example or an object lesson remains to be seen.

Does he scratch his face with an extended middle finger?

This isn’t a good look for you Crid. The more you, and the raving lunatic left, hate Trump, the more the rest of us like him.
It is like attacking the NRA. They love it, because when these lefties go all in on gun control, their membership and donation lines, ring 24/7.
You don’t want to make this about Trump.. I voted for Trump for two reasons. The Supreme Court, and a visceral dislike for the Clinton Crime family the Democratic Party platform, and their criminal shenigans . If listening to Hilary carp and moan and bitch for the last two years hasn’t made somewhat sympathetic to those of us who saw through this Masquerade nothing will.
My choice has been proven correct for all the right reasons over the past two years.
It is a huge mistake to make the political personal. And I really hope you guys pay for it in 2020.

Jim Acosta is a giant, egotistical asshole, but nonetheless, that video is hilarious!
mpetrie98 at November 10, 2018 7:58 PM
The President isn't exactly a walking example of decorum.
Amy, you are definitely more sophisticated that most. You would use the grammatically correct "THE Orange Man IS Bad."

> This isn’t a good look
I've been watching a lot of Thiel's speeches and interviews on YouTube lately. Because --let's face it-- I'm never going to buy his book, though there are probably meaningful nuances. A frequent theme is a question he asks when interviewing young hires: “What important truth do very few people agree with you on?”
That's a fun one! (For what are you ready to stand alone in everyday life?) It's easy to imagine genius MBA's and CS postdocs being completely flummoxed. While neither young nor brilliant (though incredibly good-looking), I have an answer in case he ever invites me to the office: It started to gel about twenty years ago after reading this article via Arts & Letters Daily. Benford really struck a chord!... Game-changing discoveries at the verge of science and character often do.
Crid at November 10, 2018 10:10 PM
Six years later came daydreams of a Benford for human nature; And six years after that, at the lightest possible cost (to me), a very bright person delivered the goods.
Admiring the disruption Trump brings to the political class is understandable. It's been a quarter-century since Murray identified the loathsome, self-serving warpage of American institutions on behalf of an intelligentsia, and he's paid dearly for speaking the truth. The Haidts and Petersons and other (IDW) figures commanding so much of our attention nowadays, whatever their clarity about these matters, have not yet found the courage to put it in short sentences as he did.
I grew up on a college campus, and learned early to despise the apple-polishers and political professionals who've consumed so much of our collective wealth and virtue for their own aggrandizement. I sincerely detest those smug twats... And the swarming administrative mediocrities who've sanctimoniously claimed fat lives for themselves by freeriding on coattails and taxation. Resentment of this perfidy is not merely understandable to me; I've integrated it into my worldview with a personal ferocity that you would not comprehend.
But selecting an immoral, illiterate fuckwit like Trump as a champion isn't an admirable response to the crisis. (And those voters —shallow and lonely and butthurt— are indisputably the game-changing source of his strength.)
Being willfully dim & incurious is not a credential. Neither is weeping loudly, at the polls or elsewhere, about a need for flattery from an ever-richer, ever-safer world to which one has contributed little beyond game-show viewership.
The adoration OrangeWad commands is a mystery... But I have a principle to apply in such cases!
Yesterday, Snoopdick affirmed that Clintonian 'loyalty' is (now) somehow forgivable.
Today, you suggest that leftoid virtue-signaling (a "good look") might nourish suasion.
Oh well... Bigger fish to fry.
Crid at November 10, 2018 10:20 PM
We finally got a Silicon Valley-level disruptor into our fossilized political system and the established powers are pooping themselves.
This is Boss-level gaming.
Gog_Magog_Carpet_Reclaimers at November 11, 2018 1:47 PM
"Established powers"?
Crid at November 11, 2018 10:27 PM
"Established powers"?
Austin and Gary.
Gog_Magog_Carpet_Reclaimers at November 11, 2018 10:43 PM
Oh for fucks sake.
Decorous or not: one of them is President of the United States and one of them is not.
One of them, and I am not giving you a hint Amy, is required to be there no matter his decorum, and the other is there at the pleasure of the White House.
See if you can figure out which is which.
If you are against rude people, defending Jim Acosta is a funny hill to die on. We already got you don't like Trump and want him gone. That doesn't excuse Acosta's sins.
