Linkuania
Not a good place to be. Luckily, my mom's mother's father got out of there at the turn of the 20th Century, and somehow made his way to Detroit with my great grandmother and my grandpa, who was just a tot.

This guy keeps photo-shopping himself into Kendall Jenner's photographs - and improving them by doing so.
Check out #3.

She also seems to like prosecutorial misconduct. If it gets the job done. I'm going to go out on a short limb and say she's in favor of civil forfeiture.

Didden Joseph himself take out about 20 million "Soviet" citizens?

Outskirts of Moscow. Adolf screwed himself but good when he overruled the high command plans to hunker down into prepared winter quarters and wait out the winter, with the occasional repelling of an attack. He ordered the troops out and had them fight in the cold. Even at a balmy 0F, that would suck and my impression of that winter was that much, much colder than that.
Never attack an enemy that can out-bleed you.
Tho the original plan was solid, this is an excellent point. And if Adolf had been patient he might have gotten what he wanted. But he wasn't and so he didn't. On the other hand, it was only a matter of time before Good Ol' Joe attacked Hitler, so...
The NKVD made sure the Soviet troops didn't retreat. Retreat was met with bullets from the NKVD, so advance it was.

Yes, but they were unreliable anyway. Many Ukrainians were/are ethnic Germans. They probably would have formed up divisions to assist the German army groups. Joseph also purged the Soviet military ball park 1938, so that set the war machine back quite a bit.
On the third hand, back in the 1920s, when Germany was forbidden to have armored vehicles, the Weimar Republic made a deal with Lenin and the Soviets: we'll buy you tanks, but you'll let us train with them. One of the officers sent for training was one Erwin Rommel.

They were kulaks, so inconvenient to the Soviets. And handy scapegoats. Their deaths, a mere statistic.
Now I'm seeing ads for captivating Russian ladies. I might be persuaded to let them conquer me...

"Good Ol' Joe," at that point, had his hands full with the Finns who were busy making a mockery of the Red Army. He also had a few worries about the Japanese in the East putting him in a two-front war.
The Germans had been counting on their allies, the Japanese, to invade the USSR from the East and create a two-front war for the Soviets.
Zhukov's utter destruction of the Japanese Kwangtung Army at Khalkhin Gol in September, however, had convinced the Japanese to invade Southeast Asia instead of Siberia, a shift in strategy which would necessitate taking out the American Navy at Pearl Harbor.
The aftermath of Khalkhin Gol left the Japanese and the Soviets with a fragile cease-fire - which allowed "Good Ol' Joe" to bring his best general, Zhukov, and his most-seasoned troops to the West to invade Poland and prepare for an eventual war with Germany.
