Brutality of this magnitude has no place in college athletics! These kids are savages, more animal than man!

Y'all should be reading everything Flanagan writes. Flanagan is correct much, much more often than she's wrong. She's such a feminine & clearly-principled personality that when she's wrong, it's fucking delicious.
Because I don't (usually) do day-to-day politics, I've accepted the Katherine Mangu-Ward take on Klobuchar's tendency to abuse her staff, paraphrasing: It's one thing to do that in the private sector, where your subordinates can leave your firm and sell their talent to the benefit of your competitors, but it's a different story when you work for The People. And Flanagan seems to miss that point here:
It’s shameful to humiliate and mistreat employees, no matter your gender. It’s unacceptable to be so unable to control your emotions that you throw things toward co-workers, and despicable to do it to subordinates who are afraid of you. Trying to sell cruelty and pathological behavior as a feminist victory is yet another reason that so many women who care deeply about equality don’t identify themselves as feminists.
All well and good, but when you're in government (elected or otherwise), subordinates are merely members of the team. They're not your employees; they (and you) are employees of the taxpayer.

Babs making incredibly wrong-headed comments about the two men who accused Michael Jackson of molesting them as children.

The good news is that Social Justice Warriors seem to be moving away from Cultural Appropriation.
The bad news is that they've replaced that with Cultural Imposition.

Fortunately, the imbecile known as Barbra Streisand did have the humility to apologize for her awful comments.

Now that I think about it, many a night has ended happily in a mash of bourbon and beaver secretions.
Someone should bottle that.

Gog, that's groooosssss, in the 1972 middle-school sense of the term.
In the morning, you can sober up with some coffee.

The main point about Klobuchar mistreating her staff: THIS is what she does when she has power. Don't give her power.
