Not only the alibi of tyrants, but the siren song of collectivists.
After all, who wouldn't want to join a society in which all the rough spots have been smoothed out, in which college and medical care are rights and, therefore, "free?" Who wouldn't celebrate living in a society in which there are no haves and have nots, but everybody sharing in the bounty of the magic money tree?
When collectivists (be they communists, socialists, national socialists, or fascists) trample individual rights, it's always in the name of "the people" or "the state." It's always to build a better world for "all of us." Yet only some of us ever seem to enjoy that better world.
The old Soviet Union kept wages even. No wage gaps here, comrade. It was in the perks where the class distinctions came. Those with the Party's favor got car allowances, housing allowances, access to the "good" stores and neighborhoods, to the "right" clubs and schools, treatment in the "better" clinics. So, the doctor and factory manager made as much as the machinist, but they ate better food, had better medical care, drove a better car, and lived in a nicer apartment. If the favor they enjoyed in that system was high enough, they got vacation dachas on the Black Sea, far from dour Russia's harsh winters.

Hey, Crid?
Please describe the mechanism by which Pfizer's vaccine works. DO be sure to show how it does NOT suppress OTHER immune responses.
It is so disappointing that you would take the tone of a petulant preteen clique member - especially since officials have now said that a) if you have the vaccination, you can still get COVID-19, and b) you can still transmit it. These two things are hints, BTW.
You... disease vector, you!

Crid, may I ask what kept you away these past weeks?
