I have to say, as a "masseur" myself (although in Florida, the legal term is "massage therapist), I like the idea of setting aside time to cuddle, but where you don't even know the person? Could be nasty, depending on their hygiene habits. And what happens if the person who wants to cuddle with you isn't someone you'd like to cuddle with? There is still that dynamic of rejection operating. Still, if you happen to have a lot of touchy feely friends, you could get them all together, I suppose.
Regarding the comment from the person who said "It's not about sex." Bullshit. She obviously doesn't know what sex is. Both cuddling and sex are about intimacy, the latter simply being a more profound expression of intimacy.
