The Artist's Studio

Original art by Gary Musselman, who is homeless, but does his pen and ink drawings out of Starbucks on Hill and Main, Santa Monica. This one is an homage to Wichita. Look closely, and you'll see the word. Story coming on Sunday.

nice. being a Wichita resident, I'd like to own that particular drawing.

Wow...that's really good news. The artist could use a few bucks. Would make a great poster for your town, huh?
If you're serious about wanting that, let me know.
I'm way too consumed by my own work to go into the art business -- even for a good cause -- but maybe, after I post the whole story about him (my Sunday, April 30 blog entry) and more shots of his work, somebody will agree to represent him...somebody with an address who can take PayPal and be counted on to ship stuff right. It would have to be somebody in Santa Monica, or close by, since Gary isn't too mobile.
This guy should be earning a living with his art. And can be, with the right person to represent him.

Amy you are an amazing person for standing up for Gary, there really should be more people like you. I can totally see myself doing something like that. I always tell it like it is, some people hate me others love me for it!
The Artwork is Fantastic... =) Bravo to the both of you!!
