I was reading an old article from 2006 from the news about an Australian based Muslim cleric (his name is Sheik Taj Din al-HilaliI Wsai) who said,
"It is said in the state of zina (adultery), the responsibility falls 90 per cent of the time on the woman. Why? Because she possesses the weapon of enticement (igraa)."

He summed up my views on the veil exactly. What does the veil say to me?

Women are responsible for their own rape.

Wow, pretty refreshing stuff. Wasn't sure that kind of language was still protected speech in the U.K.

Now that's the British moxie we know and love. More of this please, preferably on the BBC (not likely I know, but one can hope)

Granted. Though I am of the opinion this one rose to the top simply because of the line "I don't want to be murdered by a hysterical self-righteous carpet-chewing book-burning muppet with shit for brains." That was awesome. I know that perked up MY day.

However, I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with his obvious muppet-o-phobia. (/sarcasm, in case that wasn't obvious)
