Purple Reign
Jacaranda trees on the Cal State Fullerton campus, where I'm attending this year's Human Behavior and Evolution Society conference. I'll try to blog some of the sessions in the next few days. Some really interesting people presenting some really interesting work here.

Oh, I miss the jacaranda trees!
But you don't want to park under one . . .

Hmmm...good point! Luckily, Fullerton is mostly pavement and fast food restaurants, from what I can see, and Gregg drove me down. He also has custody of Lucy.
I brought her to one of these, in Berlin. The Europeans are much cooler about allowing dogs places. And, of course, Lucy is very well behaved. Just sat in my lap and slept the whole time -- with the exception of when Dawkins talked. People applauded afterward, and she's never heard applause before, so with all the clapping you heard the sound of a Yorkie's danger bark. It was a rather cute addition.
