I was 18 when that video came out (1983), and I had the hots for her something fierce...

LOVE IT!!! I discovered that video a few days ago and I've watched it dozens of times. It's hard to believe that the makers of the original video were dead serious at the time - and a lot of people considered it to be some kind of work of art. My personal favorite line: "The gayest man on earth would call this over the top."

Ha! I shared that last week on my Facebook page, and like Karen, I've become slightly obsessed with watching it and laughing my ass off. A search for other hilarious music videos still leaves this one at the top of the "funny" list, but this one for "White Wedding" comes close:
That? Was hysterical!! Thanks for sharing!

Wow, that was really well done! Guilty pleasure confession: I loved the song back in the day, but never saw the video. I'm glad.
This is 4 or 5 years old, but I saw it for the first time today and it cracked me up. I apologize if you've posted it before.

Damn. I'm drunk commenting at the moment.
I'm fucking dying here. That video is damn funny. I don't think it's the gin talking, either.

Thanks for that link.
I really liked that, nearly as much as this
cover version of " Total Eclipse of my heart " .
