A Former Terrorist Speaks
He was from a wealthy family, was in medical school, and was commanded by Islam to use violence against non-Muslims. Suppressing women's rights was the first order of business. And, by the way, he says, the West represents women's rights for them.
He makes a point we need to remember: you don't win against the Islamists with concessions or shows of weakness. To the Islamists, they are invitations to attack again.

@: "And, by the way, he says, the West represents women's rights for them."
___________
Reminds me of when Hillary Clinton, several years ago, said George W. Bush was the greatest threat to women's rights on the planet. Regardless of one's opinion of Bush as president, the notion that he was a greater threat to women than our (and his) jihadist enemies was ludicrous. (Even with this nonsense, Hillary still has a more realistic view of terrorism than our current president, but that's a topic for another day...)

Exactly, yet world pressure keeps telling Israel to give back this or that or whatever, and instantly the enemies use the gains as a foundation for the next attack.

The whole of the radical Islamic belief system seems to be little more than (1) control access to fertile young women, (2) deny young men access to such women and vice versa, and (3) turn the sexually frustrated young men loose on the enemy.

Why the left never is for compromise/surrender to Christian fundamentalists? Oh because they aren't' really that scary.

I find it PRETTY scary when they wage a huge, guerrilla-style war against access to birth control that doesn't get frequent attention from the mainstream media. IIRC, the NY Times Magazine was the last big medium to do so (in 2006, courtesy of writer Russell Shorto.) You can look that up under "contra-contraception" and Shorto's name.

It would be even more scary if those islamic people get total economic control, besides political control. That would most probably means that they would most probably control what we buy, what we eat and force us, nonbelievers to buy halal stuff without giving us, nonbelievers, a choice. as it is, many asian countries are being flooded with the scary totalitarian halal label on the stuff in supermarket. That means our nonbelievers free will are greatly affected. That is worst than being zombies.

I notice the Hebrew subtitles. Is it possible that this could be Israeli propaganda or at the least a story colored by a translation?
I just ask because the other day because someone sent in a "news" article about the shrink for the head of Israel committing suicide over what a neurotic the leader is.
I googled on the shrinks name in Google's world wide news search. Not one listing of the death. Goolge in their main search led me to 6 web pages pointing back to just one blog......by a pro Palestinian author with no sources quoted.
Got to take anything from that region of the world with a grain of salt.

What translation? The guy is speaking English. Some people will do anything for a conspiracy theory.

Notice how he points out that people can be recruited for Islamism even when they are educated and wealthy; the problem seems to be religious "education". Looked the guy up (Tawfik Hamid) and found this interesting article by him - it's linked from his Wikipedia article:

It seems those islamic people indoctrinated their young ones with their religious "education" (which is a very separatist and elitist kind of thing for them even in a nonreligous school) and that they only pretend to make friends with nonbelievers (who can help them) to gain an advantage. Therefore, it is very hard for me to trust even ex-islamic people like Hirsi Ali. I personally don't believe there were any genuine converter among the islamic flocks.

Review of a book
after admitting that she "was in the market for a philosophy," .... (those poor poor middle class americans, what did we ever do without a life "philosophy")
..... how "Muslim women were in some respects freer in the seventh century than they are today" and how Islam at its core is "sex-positive,"
BAh humbug!!
