Nancy's book is so beautiful. It's a tough tale -- lost kids on Hollywood Boulevard. But, there is not an extra word in there and it's beautifully told, but without one pretentious bit of language in it. Also, it's 144 pages, and I wanted it to be longer -- which is the opposite feeling I have in reading so many books (I usually think they needed a editor bitch like me to go through them and cut the fat). More is usually not more in books. It's usually too much -- so much that the gems get hidden in a sea of words.
