I am surprised the Hindu guys actually married(if at all they actually married) these women...they were putting their own lives at risk.....as usual there is no word about what happened to them....probably they have already been murdered, but then male life is cheap and no mainstream publication like cnn or bbc considers it worthwhile to bother about the same.

So, they made peace with their families...eternal peace.

This will continue so long as Islam is considered a respectable political worldview.

I knew you were kidding. But you did make me think about what was discussed when I was a child. Brian is right, Nazis were reviled, period, especially by my German relatives. My Hungarian side of the family hated both Nazis and Communists.

Um, you really shouldn't imply that any man has been murdered and that the media are ignoring it when there's a perfectly good chance he's alive and well. That is, I can't remember the last time when, in a case like this, it took ages for the man's death to be revealed - IF he was killed in the first place. Quite often, I think, he wouldn't be killed.

The more I hear about the real Islam, the more I want to learn about my husband's guns.

that is because you only look at the American media and America where the men are not killed by the girls family and if the men are killed, the alternate American media(some unknown news sites unlike cnn or bbc) is quick to report it.

In India or Asia, the men are generally kiiled by the family of the women, but those things are reported only in the alternate Indian media which is almost always in local languages and not in English. The mainstream English media of India and guys like bbc and cnn who pick those up stories from the local media almost always omit those details and hence it never gets into google news in usa.

The part of this story that struck me was that the girls went to the police for protection and were told to go "make peace with" their families. Un-frelling-believable.
