Proposed: New Slogans For Obama's Campaign
Andrew Malcolm blogs one at IBD:
"Are you better off than you were 4 trillion dollars ago?"
He continues:
It will be hard to top the ex-state senator's 2008 motto: "Hope and Change." That was a beauty, combining the nation's widespread desire for change from the bipartisan acrimony of the Bush years with a naive, unfounded hope in what this unvetted new guy sounded like he was saying he would do. Sincerely.
But, he comes up with a few more:
So, what else could Obama use? "It Could Have Been Worse" "To Infinity on Russian Rockets" "Not as Bad as It Seems" "Food Stamps for Everyone" "Live Free for Now""Banks Suck, Except at Fundraisers" "This Time, Guantanamo. Really"
"It's Free If I Say So" "Building a Better Tomorrow for Bundlers" "No lo Conoce"
"Bush Started It" "Spend All You Want, We'll Print More" "It's Worse in Greece"
"Shovel-Ready, the President Says"
Your suggestions?

As I suggested on my own fabulous blog, how about "Who are you going to trust, me or your lying eyes?"

"Obama, because you're racist if you don't!"

You voted for Obama and proved you weren't a racist. Vote for someone else and prove you're not stupid.

"WAR IS PEACE
FREEDOM IS SLAVERY
IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH."
(My friend tried to get a copy of 1984 at our local high school. The librarian found a few in a dusty box in the basement, and had the decency to be a bit embarrassed by this.)

"Because 12 years [of George W. Obama] isn't enough!"
"Four more years of collecting unemployment!"

"Get Well Tinkerbell"
This slogan would remind everyone of the scene in Peter Pan where the fairy Tinkerbell is injured and dying. Peter Pan looks out and asks everyone in the audience to wish really, really hard that Tinkerbell will recover.
Everyone wishes really hard, and Tinkerbell does recover. This is the clear, vibrant successor to "Hope and Change".
Whenever Obama appears in public, support him with "Get Well Tinkerbell".

The campaign's theme song should be "Big Rock Candy Mountain".

"I want reality and common sense."
At this point -- I'm hoping for Captain Trips comes along soon.
I don't think I have enough ammo stockpiled.
BTW, does someone know of an AR-15/AK-74 style rifle that is less than $500?

My daughter (who voted for Obama) and I were discussing Obama about a year after he took office. My comment to her during this conversation was, "I'm tired of all the hope-y, change-y bullshit. Hope flew out the window and the only change I can find is sitting in the bottom of my purse." I think my daughter has come to her senses and realized her mistake.

Jim, why would you buy a rifle based on price?
There are so many clones that you can get junk that way.
Irony in a campaign: "Solutions, not slogans!"
