They closed the division that published "I See Rude People," and are only publishing business books. They made an offer for me to write a biz book, but I wanted to write this one instead!
And thanks, Martin. It'll be out in Spring of 2014.

Agreed! For that alone it could do much better than the last, on top of whatever skill you acquired in that first (second?) venture.

I grew up where cursing was just something boys and men did. My Dad was a British Merchant Marine during WW2, so "fookin hell" was a staple in our household. I never heard my Mom or sister ever use a curse word in my life.
On the ball field we called each other "pussy" or "douche" or such but never took it seriously. To me cursing is a valve, a lighthearted way of injecting humor into a situation. We knew the time and the place. Nowdays if you called someone a "pussy" on the playing field there would be victims of bullying, bullies, and probably school officials and law enforcement involved. I don't think we are doing the kids any favors with PC.
