Re: Fuggers
Would that kind of thing happen at a NASCAR event?

Good point...
...You sumbitch.
It's like the old joke about how PETA activists would rather throw fake blood onto the furs of Beverly Hills matrons than onto the leathers of Hell's Angels bikers.
(It's gonna be a great race in Montreal this weekend anyway.)

Aw, what I know about motorsports is nuthin', although one Spring back in the 80s, I did go with one of my roommates to watch the drivers practice for the Indy 500. Had fun, too, and came away with three things learned:
a. Them cars is loud!
b. My favorite driver was Howdy Holmes, only because I liked the name.
c. Mario Andretti, whom we spied a few yards from us signing autographs, was a really tiny, little dude.
Will you be attending the race?

With the possible exceptions of Monaco, Spa, Singapore and Montreal, where you know you'll have a pleasant visit anyway, TV coverage is better than attending a race could ever be.
Nascar people: Did you ever want to visit Talladega for any other reason? (Also, did you ever make a right-hand turn or drive over a hill?)
Yeah, racing is too loud in person. Hard rock is better on records too, because you can turn it down and listen to it.
