The first cyclist in this video, taking up the center lane was in Washington DC, I think.
I don't know the laws there, but in California he would be perfectly legal to take up that lane.
Regardless, the pickup truck obviously has no right just to run this guy down at any time.
That guy really needs to cool his heels in jail.
