Wow. My head is rather spinning right now. Not that I feel like discussing George Zimmerman any more, but since I've shared my opinions on this on Facebook, including the fact that our President should have minded his own goddamned business, but the fallout from it.

I lost so many Facebook friends over this. People I've known for YEARS, who all of a sudden called me all kinds of vile names, like "racist" and "liar" and other stuff I won't repeat. Or accusing me of strange things, like saying I compared the President to a child molester. I don't remember doing that. And I'm certain I didn't do that to suggest that President molests children.

I've just never seen anything like this.

Oh, well. A very wise friend pointed out to me that if they were dumping me over my views on Zimmerman, they were never my friends to begin with. Still, it's just staggering to me. I can't see kicking people to the curb so abrasively over something like this.

There are a million things to be upset over that are more deserving of our attention. Not to belittle the suffering of Martin's family, but there are more important things that an American citizen can be enraged over.

This probably makes no sense at all. I could tell I was drunk when I typed it, but I don't drink.
