Homeland Security Employee Preps For A Race War
So, the DHS is "protecting" us by having hamburger clerks frisk our genitals because we are guilty of needing to fly to see Grandma before she passes, but they can't manage to vet their own?
Via a tweet by Declan McCullagh, this guy's page is truly incredible -- calling for the mass murder of white people:
@declanm
Homeland Security employee preps for "race war": http://www.theatlanticwire.com/national/2013/08/homeland-security-employee-moonlights-race-warrior/68600/ ... "Going to have to kill a lot of whites": http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:s01hTmpooioJ:waronthehorizon.com/site/%3Fp%3D1016+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us
A screenshot I took from the guy's site:
From The Atlantic Wire, by Abby Ohlheiser:
A Department of Homeland Security employee who works on, among other things, the procurement of guns and ammunition for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, spends his nights and weekends preparing for a coming race war and advocating for anti-gay causes, according to a new report from the Southern Poverty Law Center. Meet Ayo Kimathi, a.k.a. "the Irritated Genie," who told his bosses at the DHS that his anti-white, anti-gay site, "War is on the Horizon," was just an entertainment site that sells concert and lecture videos. You see, DHS employees, even those with office jobs like Kimathi's, have to get outside activities approved by their supervisors, according to the SPLC. Kimathi's former supervisor told the watchdog group, which tracks hate speech and groups in the U.S., that despite her former employee's banal description of his extracurricular activities, the actual content of the site left her "stunned." She continued: "To see the hate, to know that he is a federal employee, it bothered me." She added that had Kimathi's site been accurately described to the agency, there's no way the DHS would have signed off on it. Possibly to keep his bosses from looking up his work, Kimathi used only the site's acronym, WOH, in his permission request. In addition to his involvement in the purchase of ICE supplies, Kimathi also had a public profile for the agency, speaking at vendor events. As "Irritated Genie," Kimathi also has a public profile as a black supremacist advocate.
So, they're going to root out terrorists 20 minutes before they board a plane, but they can't manage to root out this guy because...because he "hid" his site by using the initials of the site only in his permission request?!
A quote from the guy's site:
"Warfare is eminent, and in order for Black people to survive the 21st century, we are going to have to kill a lot of whites - more than our christian hearts can possibly count."
Hey, racist, murder-advocating loser, that would be "imminent."

I say send the guy on a speaking tour, and give him press time, so as many people as possible can hear what he thinks, how he came to his positions, and who he believes agrees with him. His views aren't the biggest problem here... the most dangerous aspect is that too few Americans know an outlook like his exists, or that it is held and promulgated by people who are well-compensated and outwardly respectable. Buried in all this is a statement, waiting to be made, about the federal bureaucracy and the kind of people it has gone out of its way to employ.
Also, as we unpack the meaning of Ayo Kimathi's positions and his use of a website to put them into the public eye, it may help to keep in mind that we recently endured the spectacle of the President of the United States using his own office, plus the levers of power in his Justice Department, to pour racial gasoline onto a local police matter while dragging it into the national spotlight.
There's a connection between the two, a common source. Something is happening here. And though what it is ain't exactly clear, that's not a reason to fail to perceive that Kimathi may be giving us a window into something very real.
As an example, let's look at something that was much more telling than it seemed at the time. After a 2008 Obama campaign speech, a rejoicing Peggy Joseph was recorded on video as saying "I won't have to worry about putting gas in my car. I won't have to worry about paying my mortgage. You know, if I help him, he's gonna help me." Conservatives and others jeered, but she has proven to be a much better seer than her detractors.
So let's hear as much as possible about what Kimathi has to tell us, and ponder his message, the place he works, and how he came to be there. If he thinks something is "eminent", or imminent, maybe we should listen.

I don't see anything inconsistent here. Who is Reverend Wright, again?
Oh, just the minister of the church our President attended for years.
Radwaste at August 22, 2013 3:07 AM
He makes a reference to his readers' "Christian hearts." His comment about "white devils" makes him sound more like a follower of Nation of Islam.
Patrick at August 22, 2013 3:59 AM
The other possibility is that he is exactly the kind of person they want.
MBruce at August 22, 2013 4:57 AM
He's certainly misguided: "We love the very race that murders our babies, destroys our culture, and commits countless acts of genocide against our people worldwide"???
I'm guessing he doesn't live near and/or hasn't read about the countless acts of black-on-black genocide in Chicago. Not to mention Detroit, Bridgeport, Philadelphia, Hartford, New Haven, and other cities where most crimes committed are black on white and black on black.
He's blaming white people for the things people of his own race do on a much larger scale. Wonderful. Where's the NSA now?
Flynne at August 22, 2013 4:58 AM
It passed spell check, so what's the problem with eminent? The president can give mellifluous speeches utterly devoid of meaning, so why can't some SLA wannabe who missed the 70s do the same? Who needs facts when they have feelings?
The 70s, in case he wasn't around, didn't work out too well for his cause. At the end of the day, when the looting and rioting was done, the neighborhood that was destroyed was not Beverly Hills. Barbara Streisand was not living in a tent. There's always a lesson to be learned, but you've got to pay attention.

Well the article mistates some of the facts. Unless he is earning money from the outside activities, he doesn't need permission from DHS.

I think this admin made more efforts for "racial animosity" than previous ones.
Stinky the Clown at August 22, 2013 7:11 AM
Stupid, racist and vicious - sounds like a great choice for the TSA.
Gog_Magog_Carpet_Reclaimers at August 22, 2013 11:10 AM
And yes, I know he's DHS, I'm just suggesting we move him to the TSA Subdivision of Idiots in light of his status as America's Smartest Government Employee.
Gog_Magog_Carpet_Reclaimers at August 22, 2013 11:13 AM
Now, had he been a memeber of the KKK or some other white hate group then I would expect to see this on the evening news over and over for weeks on end.
But . . . crickets.
Charles at August 22, 2013 1:21 PM
And where is Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson?
Jim P. at August 22, 2013 3:17 PM
Just a question, but wouldn't "black ethnic cleansing" suggest that blacks are the subject of this purge, not the beneficiaries?
Disclaimer: Not suggesting anyone or anything should be purged.
Patrick at August 23, 2013 12:16 AM
Anecdotes are fun, but I want facts and figures. In any profession you'll find some crazies. What I want to know is what percentage of TSA workers are crazies and criminals, and how statistically different is it from other professions.
NicoleK at August 23, 2013 5:24 AM
I suppose he could be happy that police are looking for two black teens suspected of beating an 88 year old white man to death.
No word from the President on whether they could have been him/his son.
Gog_Magog_Carpet_Reclaimers at August 23, 2013 7:26 AM
"What I want to know is what percentage of TSA workers are crazies and criminals, and how statistically different is it from other professions."
Especially those with immediate and personal impact on the rights of American citizens, right?
Radwaste at August 23, 2013 9:26 PM
So, Janet Napolitano was right. We do have to worry about domestic terrorists.

And he's been put on paid administrative leave pending the investigation.
