Someone should warn Miley Cyrus about the dangers. Apparently, no one came to serious harm, otherwise, they wouldn't have posted this video.

Professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. had a rough time with the police? Maybe he should call Prince Andrew.

Prince Andrew was a good sport, at least. As for Henry Louis Gates Jr., his difficulty with the Cambridge Police Department was a monster of his own making.

"I say, chaps, I'm only here to visit me Mum! Do let me go, that's a good lad!"

"Right, tell it to the magistrate, bloke!"

"Oh, I am rather put off by all this. I shall surely register a complaint!"

"Oh, wait. You are Prince Andrew, aren't you? I must say I'm somewhat abashed!"

"Pish-posh, you mustn't be troubled. All's well that ends well and all that, right? Cheerio, lads!"

Not only was Prince Andrew a "good sport" about it, he no doubt understood that the police were on edge because there, in fact, had been a recent break in.

One thing I'll never forget about the whole Prof Gates and Cambridge cops incident is that during the "beer summit" at the white house it was the "racist" officer Crowley who helped Prof. Gates navigate down the steps (he often walks with the help of a cane) while "his dear friend," President Obama, strode by himself up to the podium ignoring Prof Gates. Obama's narcisistic side showed greatly - and the press ignored it!

Or maybe the point of that little exercise was to reinforce that Obama got them to overcome their animosity and the perfesser would graciously accept help from the cop.

Nah. Obama's a Muslim Manchurian candidate sleeper agent with a forged birth certificate who's gonna put a mosque in the Alamo! Yeah. That's the ticket.

Well, you're welcome to believe what you want. But I could stomach the arrogance that Obama displayed by declaring this a "teachable moment," as if he were their mentor or their daddy.

Obama was the one in need of a lesson that day. He opened his stupid mouth and weighed in on a situation of which he had no knowledge. Instead of the Cambridge Police Department, it was Professor Gates who "acted stupidly" and behaved like a belligerent asshole toward the police who were called by a concerned neighbor who believed she was witnessing a break-in.

And Obama has not learned that lesson. In case of Trayvon Martin, he still decided to emit some effusive and nonsensical tripe about how if he had a son, he would look like Trayvon, helping the media advance their portrayal of Trayvon as an innocent little cherub who was stalked and murdered by a vigilante.

Well, it seems the evidence doesn't really support that scenario and by the best evidence we have, Zimmerman acted in self-defense.

Mr. President, will you never learn? Shut. Up.

Actually, Patrick, Obama's comment about how he would look like Trayvon is the only time I truly believe Obama was telling the truth - yes, Obama was a cocaine-sniffing punk in his youth, so he was very much like Trayvon.

As contemptible as I find this President, I can't help but feel that the assessment is a tad on the harsh side. Yes, he used cocaine in his use maybe one or two times, but he was hardly an addict or even a habitual user.

I don't have much of a problem with drug experimentation in youth. That's the time to experiment and learn. I smoked marijuana about four times in my life. I had always told myself that I would never, ever use the stuff. But then I felt I was avoiding it for the wrong reasons. So, I tried it. And was told that you don't always experience the sensation the first time. So, I tried it a few more times. I decided I wasn't missing much. And I never did it again.

But I never did anything harder than pot...unless you count prescribed medications such as Darvocet and Vicodin, which I took only when prescribed to me and less than the prescribed dosage.

You just excused the President for committing a felony.

That's how far Americans will go to confirm their belief in a Daddy Figure.

Now, what does the Constitution say about Presidents and felonies? That's right, he wasn't convicted, so everything is just fine.

'Waste, it would be interesting to find out just how much of your time is dedicated to thinking about me. I suspect the answer would be "entirely too much."

I will agree with you that the assessment is overly harsh and that youth is indeed the time to experiment. (Although that "you don't always experience the sensation the first time." is wrong, I've smoked pot for years and trust me, the first time ALWAYS knocks you flat on your ass. You were sold either shake or oregano.)

Rad has a good point though too. He DID commit a felony. Clinton was fried for getting a blow job. The only thing saving his ass was he wasn't in politics when it happened.

No, not every guy tries cocaine, but most have experimented at some level. Why excuse one president for something every guy does, and fry another for what every guy does?
