But that's okay. Sarah Palin can just lie her ass off, but she's still just the best thing since sliced bread with your conservatives, right?

"Sarah Palin can just lie her ass off, but she's still just the best thing since sliced bread with your conservatives, right?"
Only if they're paying attention to her. For me, her value lies mostly in the conniption fits she causes liberals, kind of like how tighty-righties would react if they tuned in to Sean Hannity and found out Hillary Clinton was the guest host that week (that would be pretty hilarious, wouldn't it?).

Actually, Old RPM, that would be pretty funny. And you're right about Sarah Palin causing conniptions among liberals. Just create a movie about her called "Undefeated," and listen to the screams of outrage.

PolitiFact uncovers the 16 biggest lies about the Affordable Care Act, including Sarah Palin's death panels.
0. PolitiFact has been fact-checking claims about the federal health care law since lawmakers started drafting the legislation in 2009.
Lawmakers drafted shit, it was written by lobyists and congress hat to "pass it to see what is in it" much like the Patriot Act
1. The health care law is not socialized medicine. Instead, it leaves in place the private health care system that follows free market principles.
Free market principles like calling it a tax, and forcing everyone to buy under threat of imprisonment.
2. After controversy, the provision was dropped from the final legislation
So, its false but we changed the law anyway even though we had no reason to. Yeah, that makes sense
3. Like anonymous email chain letters are authoritative sources
4. Parsed and edited quote, I wonder why they didnt use the full quote? They suggested that she said the IRS would have access to medical records, she didnt.
5. Again chain email. Oddly though this one is kinda true, congress has been giving themselves exemptions
6. called 'mostly false' but only because they were too lazy to try and see if it might be true. If you arent willing to investigate the claim why should I believe your uninformed opinion?
7. Free market principles like calling it a tax, and forcing everyone to buy under threat of imprisonment.
8. Another chain email
9. Holy shit. Are you aware Patrick that they called Obama a liar. Doesnt this mean the suckle Bush's ballsd and must prove to you, personally, that they also criticised Bush before you'll believe them?
10. If false explain the newstories climing businesses are in fact cutting hours?
11. Another email seriously?
12. Another email seriously?
13. False equivalency. As the law itself is qualified as a tax all expenditures are themselves taxes. This statement might be true. Show us the math
14. Email, again?
15. & 16. I'll grant you
So
8/17 Misleadingly selective quotes, ie flasehoods on the part of Politifact
6/17 Chain emails (I wonder if it was the same one)
3/17 Correct
In the last 12 hours I found out two of my best female friends, both married, have been having affairs and are getting divorced. Looking back at all my close friends who have gotten divorced for this reason, in every case it was the female who was having an affair. (7 couples, 8 if you include me.)
I shouldn't post this but it really bummed me out.

Thought it was interesting that Otzi, a 5,000 year old mummy, showed "... a symptom in the form of arteriosclerosis, or hardening of the arteries."
I'm sorry to hear about your wife cheating on you, Eric. And I can understand why finding out that your close female friends are doing the same thing to their husbands would be so depressing to you.
And while I don't own this blog, I think it's fine that you posted it here. It is interesting in that it reminds us that men aren't the only philanderers in the world. I think that myth comes from the double standard.
The thing is, these are both really good guys, hard working, honest. One is a social dud, but neither deserve anything like this. And the thing is neither of these 2 husbands know yet.

O RPM D-
Still got my Ray Ban Wayfarers. Only sunglasses I've ever worn. If they were good enough for JFK, they are good enough for me! I had knock-off Member's Only though I bought at a swap meet. I think it was "invitation only" or something like that on the label.
Do they still have swap meets in California?
Eric

No, swap meets are known to the State of California to cause cancer
Otzi of 3,300 B.C. is quite remarkable in many ways.
Tattoos corresponding to accupressure 2,000 years before documented use in China, well-made water-proof clothing, a copper axe (supposedly rare), and genetically from South Corsica.
I believe that ALF had a lot to do with the pyramids.
