You're an even bigger critic of Islam.
If you ask specifically what is wrong with Islam, it makes the same mistakes as the preceding religions, but it makes another mistake, which is that it's unalterable. You notice how liberals keep saying, If only Islam would have a Reformation; it can't have one. It says it can't. It's extremely dangerous in that way.
As I've written before here, per my studies of Islam Quran is said to be the word of god and cannot be changed.
Unfortunately, Mohammed wasn't exactly all "Turn the other cheek" like Jesus. Geert Wilders writes:

The Muslims want to overthrow the West. There are 1.6 billion Muslims. There are only 300 million Americans. The numbers favor the Muslims in this fight.

A better date would be 4 November 1979, but in actuality our entanglement with Islam has been going on since the founding. The Marine Hymn notes shores of Tripoli, which was the first instance of regime change as US foreign policy, not a day at the beach for the Marines.

"The West" and "Americans" are two different things. The latter is a subset of the former.

Ever notice that as our dependence on Middle East oil increased our problems with Islamists increased?
Perhaps instead of funding these people we should consider using the oil in our ground and break the OPEC cartel.
And putting up windmills or turning corn into ethanol is not an effective alternative. CNG, LNG or hydrogen might be viable long term solutions or supplements.
