Few shows, if any, demonstrated greater tackiness than Hogan's Heroes. There is little in this world less suitable for comedic fodder than WWII Germany.
That aside, from a Charlie Brown special I've never seen, "She's a Good Skate, Charlie Brown."
Patricia Reichardt (aka "Peppermint Patty") is about to perform a figure skating routine. However, an irreparable malfunction with the sound equipment, prevents her music from playing. She's certain to be disqualified without music, but Woodstock saves the day.
It is now life and not art that requires the willing suspension of disbelief. - Lionel Trilling-
So the House today approved back pay for furloughed workers. While I agree these workers have nothing to do with this shutdown and should not be punished, it just strikes me as insane that they are not being allowed back to work while receiving their paycheck.

Which is why so many of the cast, survivors of Germany's action, signed on after being assured that those Germans would never be shown as winners.
Although the nation is gripped tightly by the politically correct these days, I suggest that the cast's opinion beats yours. They were there!
