Selling People On Losing Their Insurance And Paying More (And A Site To Tell You The Plans Now Available To You)
From Senator Joe Manchin III, Democrat of West Virginia, in an interview with the New York Times:
Affordable health care means trying to get more people insurance that had no insurance. Making people who had insurance buy a different product that costs more for less coverage? You can't go home and defend that.

Actually at this point I think the Republicans smartest option would be to refuse to change a single thing about the [un]Affordable Care Act. No extension of the penalty deadline. No extension of the enrollment deadline. Let the Democrats do it all. I have a feeling that there will be a sea change in Congress on November 4th, 2014.
The big thing is to primary out all the RINO's in the Senate. And I'd like to see Boehner gone as well.

Jim P. I've been saying the same thing. Let the people that voted for this own it completely. Websites don't work? Well let's get them working so we can get to the real disaster.
If I were a Congressman that didn't vote for this I would forward all constituent calls, letters, and emails to Nancy Pelosi. Dump them outside her office for some great political theater.

That site must be published, ASAP. I was able to quickly put in my information, and find out plans. Incredible, fast and hopefully accurate.
Answered many of my questions. Thanks, Amy.

The Government Health Card:
Finding out what plans are available, implemented by three college guys: $5,000 investment.
Implementing the needs of the security state to verify and store your personal information: $600 million investment.
Knowing that the government stands by to tax you and help you in all phases and facets of your peasant life: Priceless.

I agree with Jim P. and JFP. I only wish the Republicans had just let the ACA chips fall where they may instead of shutting down the government. I know they want to claim that "We tried everything possible to keep it from happening and ruining the United States," but they were even making voting Republicans upset by refusing to budge and took too long to cave.

Part of the issue with that is the low information Republicans are being fed what they know by the left-leaning major media outlets. So McConnell, McCain, and the rest of the RINO's are looking like they are the conservatives and are the only one's given voice.
But if you listen to Cruz, Lee, and the other TEA party types they are looking to stop it. But their voices are generally being suppressed.
