Is It National Asshole Day?
What's with people who stand right outside strangers' houses and have loud, protracted arguments on cell phones?
Phone's mobile, dude. Except in a tornado, most homes are not.

It could be worse, Amy. They could be having a loud, protracted argument on your landline.

When isn't it?
When the world revolves around you, everyday is your day.
My wife gets frustrated with me because I refuse to have a long drawn-out conversation on a cell phone. I mostly give one-word and short answers; and am cryptic when giving details.
I just don't want people around me to listen in. I'm certainly not going to have a loud argument on a cell phone on a public street.
What do an Oklahoma divorce and a tornado have in common?
Someone's gonna lose a trailer.

He can never understand why people aren't more worried about everyone getting all their information.

Supersoaker.
'just sayin'.
Works for yowling cats and barking dogs too.

I thought the Iphone had a power problem.
Um, I'm a technician.

But I wonder if you threw/dropped a water balloon to deliberately miss the offender and you did -- what could be done?
Jim P. at December 19, 2013 4:22 PM
My mom is guilty of this!
You would think a 50 year old woman would know better.
Sometimes we have dinner and she has these LOUD conversations on the phone, laughing, LOUDLY speaking.
It's the most annoying thing evah.

What's wrong with you guys in California, that "super soaker" equals a battery charge?

He may have gotten the message that you are not supposed to drive, ride a bike or walk while using a cell phone, especially txt'ing but all should be avoided. I have seen a recent safety message push about this...particularly at work.
While visiting Japan awhile back I was told that in certain areas (he thought we were in one) it is illegal to walk down the street and smoke -- as in you can get a fine for it. However standing is perfectly acceptable unless there is a sign specifically prohibiting. So you can stop and smoke under someones open window and it is fine (perhaps rude) but walk by while smoking is not. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smoking_in_Japan

My dream if I had the guts to mock the person by mimicking them on the phone.
Person is having an argument. Pick up my phone and proceed to have similar argument. Bonus points if I can get it to sync with there call. Once signal has sunk in, sign off with a witty line like "Damn babysitters! Never willing to get their hand dirty?"
