My favorite YouTube series, Epic Rap Battles of History, produced a rap version of "A Christmas Carol which runs less than three and a half minutes.

"Dennis Rodman" is an anagram of "Odd in manners."

Crid's Greatest Hits? So soon?

Crid, is there a reason you're linking us to the "I'm Too Dim" thread twice? Did you say something especially wonderful that you're just dying to have us see? I knew you were overly self-enamored (and have known that for years), but this is going further than even I gave you credit for. (On the subject of dim people.)
I have no problem with socialized medicine, thanks. I really am very much okay with tax dollars being used to take care of you if you get sick. (Yes, Crid, even you.)
Corporate subsidies, which are a much larger chunk of taxes, seems to be a-okay with this merry group.
Scream bloody murder over TSA, NSA, some high school English essay, and Obamacare. But sign me up to support the gazillionaires. The average American family will pay 6000 dollars in corporate subsidies this year. Which apparently Amy is just thrilled to death to do. "Yes, I'm a struggling writer whose healthcare just became unaffordable, but only too glad to support those darling Waltons, with their collective net worth of over 93 billion dollars. Now excuse me while I post yet another link on the horrible abuses inflicted on Americans by the TSA."
Patrick at December 20, 2013 4:30 AM
Patrick, if you Google the phrase "Amy Alkon crony capitalism" you'd come up with many, many hits, of which this is one. Complaining about the TSA, NSA, ACA, and all the other Alphabits doesn't automatically put you in favor of corporate subsidies, and I don't remember anyone here shilling for the Waltons.
As for Crid? Oh, well that's a matter of taste.

I just love these little moments of irony where Patty puts words in other people mouths.
Although is irony the right word? After all Patrick doesnt have a shit fit when people put words in his mouth, just when people ask him tough questions

A father asked his son, Little Johnny, if he knew about the birds and the bees.
"I don't want to know!" Little Johnny said, exploding and bursting into tears. Confused, his father asked Little Johnny what was wrong.
"Oh Pop," Johnny sobbed, "for me there was no Santa Claus at age six, no Easter Bunny at seven, and no Tooth Fairy at eight. And if you're telling me now that grown ups don't really have sex, I've got nothing left to believe in!"

I was going to post the same wha Patrick earlier and thought better. Come back and it looks like two other long timers here already leaped to our hosts defense.
Ya, please do not put word in my mouth. I rarely to never support subsidies. Heck many of the people on here are libertarian.
What surprise me and should not is the tangents that happen here on the site at times. From topic jumps to blatant off topic posts.
Wow Patrick, from Crid's posting a song twice (or the humanity) to NSA and subsidies. From A to B to frigging Σ.

Was going through old stuff again—

> to the mailbox looking like crap without

We covered some of that here. (I wonder if those women ever got their film returned? I hadn't followed the link when you posted it three years ago... The look on the teen daughter's face in the photo is, in context, haunting.)
Also, this link from JP is freaking spectacular. Most of Reddit is worthless blubbering from hungover college boys... But when they hit a cooperative stride, they're magnificent.
