Aida plus apparently guilty conscience.
I love watching her do the math in her head -- how fast can she get up to the little table, access food there in a bowl, what kind of food is it and will it be worth it to steal vis a vis how much trouble she'll get in from me when I notice her going for it, and whether she has some chance of actually getting what she goes after.

My dog actually would calculate how to delay my response time as well. "If I ask to go out she will go get my leash and then I can get her sandwich."
