Jim P., interesting video. Why on earth didn't they unhitch the trailer first? Yet another reason to marvel at the stupidity of people who are actually capable of operating a motor vehicle.

Depending on the hitch type and how it was connected there probably was no way to disconnect it with the rear down in the mud the way it was.
Then of course there are the special ways to pull a pickup truck.

Jim P - it just goes to show they give a license to anyone!
My father, who was a trucker, said to always avoid rental trucks and RV's on the road as they were most likely driven by folks who were behind the wheel of a vehicle they weren't trained on how to drive. Also true about folks towing cars behind their Rv's.
The video you linked to proves that point. That driver wasn't just stupid; he was a danger to others on the road as well.

It's very hard to have a conversation with a kleptomaniac, because they take everything literally.

Well at least this guy wasn't on a major road.

Patrick will be here all week, folks! Gotta admit that one's a particularly clever language twist.
