Animal Protein Worse Than...Smoking?!
Actually a case of researchers torturing the data until it confesses -- that is, confesses what they were looking for it to confess, writes Dr. Michael Eades. An excellent post on this recent news-colored bullshit contending that eating animal protein will send you packing off to your grave.

It is sometimes good to remember that ANYTHING we do will lead to the grave; that's is, after all, where everyone ends up anyway.

Two things I remember clearly from my science and physics classes I took with engineering students:

But nothing's worse than smoking animal protein!
Ask anybody who's burned a New York strip.

Unless you're Enoch, Elijah, Jesus or possibly St. John, the grave is inevitable anyway.

I restate my contention: "Nutrition science" is almost totally populated by charlatans and frauds, and, in terms of increasing scentific knowledge, has made essentially zero progress since about 1960.

"Animal" protein should be cut? Keep reading, among other conclusions was "until about age 60," which lets me out. Bot even a suggestion of WHY these effects might show up - perhaps "animal" proteins are easier to re-purpose for our own body's use?
Bah. Just a couple of weeks ago, a study announced its startling revelation, cancerous cells need sugar - so cut down! That all other cells also need sugars, and that grains/cereals are broken down into sugars - not mentioned, only "processed" (sugar extracted from cane or beet, rather than using ground-up cane in your food?) sugar.
All reminds me of a co-worker who would not take aspirin, because it is "not natural." I suppose he also insists on cookies (biscuits?) made by elves, not in a factory.

Add psychologists, human resource professionals, feminists, labour unions also to that list

IIRC, there are at least a couple of essential proteins that the human body can't synthsize and are difficult to obtain via a vegetarian diet. I need to do some reading.

So if you feed an organism (mouse) that does need a grain based diet animal proteins it gets sick.If you feed a tiger grass it dies too. Ergo we must subsist on air and sunshine since plants live much longer. That's pretty much what I'm reading.
Also when I get my morning coffee at dunkies there is always some MOBO that get their skim, no fat ____ with 6 sugars. I have to scratch my head and wonder. Do they fail to see fat free ain't working or is this AMA produced body dimorphic disorder.
