I just came back from Hawaii where I took four inter-island flights. The TSA procedures were different for each flight. Shoes on, shoes off (even sandals), laptop out or left in knapsack. In one case, the scan showed five "problem" areas. The problems included the ever dangerous passport, folding money, and the sleeves for to go cups I carry in my back pocket. None of these were an issue on the other three flights.

If this were real security, there would be one procedure followed at all airports.
