Someone do this and tell us if it tastes good and will impress chicks. I love cholesterol, and am OK with smelling bad.
And I'm a shitty dancer.

My middle daughter was a little late coming home last night. She'd been up at the library, tutoring a younger schoolmate on how to write an SAT essay. She wasn't terribly encouraged; while good in math, she didn't believe her schoolmate had read single book outside of class, and really didn't have much amassed knowledge to draw from.
But, she said, she knows lots of people taking SAT prep courses, which involve weekend classes consisting of proctored tests and instruction on various test strategies. According to Kaplan's website, such a class costs $699 or more. But according to About.com, such classes boost SAT scores by only about 30 points. That comes out to $23.30 a point. A good deal? Maybe, maybe not.

When I was an SAT tutor, I went and looked at several years of essay questions.
They were, EVERY SINGLE ONE, along the lines of, "Bravery is a great characteristic. Tell us about a character in a book that you recently read who was brave"
"Intelligence is a great characteristic. Tell us about a character in a book that you recently read who was intelligent"
... substitute a virtue.
So tell that girl to read a book, any book, and get super familiar with it so that she can cite examples from it.

This kind of thing is driving people to homophobia. There is now actually a good reason to be afraid of gays. If a stupid remark about aids or a 5-year-old donation can get you fired and ruin your life, then fear seems an appropriate response.
Most heterosexuals don't have any problems with gays, and have no particular objection to their marriage. But if innocent comments and actions can be so mis-construed, then it is natural that we become less comfortable and start avoiding those with differing orientations.
As for Mozilla, their trumpeted promotion of freedom and individuality seems hypocritical now.

You mean, like, if you hold the same For example, if you hold the same position that our second-term President held during his first term, when you voted for him, just three years ago?
Carney is all over this.
