Fl, I agree with that.

In my middle 50's, I nonetheless find myself in group settings where I have to sit quietly and receive information, as do we all.

And in those moments, an ancient hatred of school bubbles through my consciousness:

Well the selective service kept sending me letters to register until I called them up and explained that I was in the Delayed Enlistment Program for the USAF from January of my senior year. Why did I need to fill out their paperwork?

The guy I was talking to was totally flabbergasted.
