Barney Frank On Obamacare: "They Just Lied To People"
Kellan Howell writes in the WashTimes that former Massachusetts rep Frank was appalled at the way the administration rolled out Obamacare, with the President lying to the public. In Frank's words, in a HuffPo interview:
"The rollout was so bad, and I was appalled--I don't understand how the president could have sat there and not been checking on that on a weekly basis," the former Democratic congressman told the website."But frankly, he should never have said as much as he did, that if you like your current health care plan, you can keep it. That wasn't true. And you shouldn't lie to people. And they just lied to people," he added.

Wow. He tells the truth only AFTER he's voted out of office. Quelle surprise.

Yes, let's all flock to Barney Frank, who basically ran a brothel from his own home while a member of congress. Why does Massachusetts feel the need to inflict these moral cesspools like Frank and Kennedy on us helpless Americans? What do we ever do to them?

Who is this guy, and what has he done with the real Barney Frank?

Well, someone's gotta say it - the kettle calls the pot black!

Pot, meet Kettle:
"Any smart political adviser would have said, 'Don't lie to people, because you're gonna get caught up in it and it's gonna have this tsunami that you now have,'" Frank told HuffPost. "My political motto, very simple. I have always told the truth, and nothing but the truth. But I don't volunteer the whole truth in every situation."

So, Frank never lied. He simply didn't always tell the whole truth.

In other news, reports say that Barney Frank is beginning to have doubts about the existence of the Tooth Fairy.

(Please note this is word for word what appeared on another page. It makes more sense here.)
This is the thing that gets me most ticked off about the two-party system. If Republicans and Democrats disagree with their fellow party members in Congress, they just keep their mouths shut.
For those older Republicans who say something that appears to perpetuate the myth that ALL Republicans are racist, sexist, homophobic and just about everything else negative a person can be, you'd think that their younger colleagues would speak up and let the public know that this is not the direction the party is trying to move. But they don't.
When the Democrats were forcing the Affordable Care Act through Congress, there were many in the party who had major doubts about it. But none of them spoke up beforehand.
Why won't those members of Congress who claim to be of independent mind take more action? Because they won't get re-elected. The corporations who back the politicians' campaigns will just put their money behind an opponent who will beat them in the primary. It appears that there is almost no member of Congress who is willing to risk a position for which they had to sacrifice so much of their soul by doing the right thing.
