The Pink Cookie sold in Elyria, Ohio schools was, apparently, yummy in the extreme. The problem is, it doesn't meet federal nutrition guidelines, and has been banned.
While scolds who make these kinds of rules may claim they're acting in the interests of the children, their real motives are truly transparent. People who take joy in inflicting self-righteous misery on others should never be allowed even a quantum of authority. They're cookies, for Pete's sake!
Oh, the first link in the linked article contains the official Pink Cookie recipe. Elyria parents wishing to Stick It To The Man might want to make up a few batches for the children's lunchbags.

When I was about 9, the public library bought a pair of these. It was brilliant. Nothing, nothing could have done as much to visit and check out books.
I've seriously considered buy one. But [A] I'm a happy bachelor with no one to need privacy from (my whole live is a pod) and [B] it probably wouldn't fit through the door.
