Sigh. Elizabeth Lauten, despite having apologized for certain catty remarks she made regarding Obama's daughters, finds herself compelled to resign amid the backlash. I guess a thoughtful apology just isn't enough for some people. She's out her job now. Will this be enough, or is this more of a dismembered-head-on-a-pikestaff-planted-on-the-White-House-lawn type of offense?
