Turned my back on the internet for FIVE HOURS. Thought nothing of it. Middle-aged men do that sometimes.
Three huge memes roared past in the interval.
One of them is called "the dress," and this picture of that dog might be part of it.
(Another was called "Jeb.")
(Har! If only, right?)

My kids were all over the dress thing. I totally saw black and gold. I could kind of get how some people would have seen blue, but I couldn't figure out how my eldest was seeing black. She now thinks she should have herself checked.
Aida looks very regal, by the way, like an old-time Hollywood diva: "My right's my best side!"

The dress thing was annoying. Been asleep since about 9pm, exhausted from conference. Just woke up to it.
And thanks, Old RPM!

Beautiful dog!! I am still baffled by the dress, though. Same computer 3 females, 2 saw white and gold, I saw blue and black. Like a stark slate/royal blue. Girls freaked out and insinuated I was senile. I thought I was being punked, still kind of do.

Man, I'm out of the loop. I still don't know what this dress thing is. The first Police song I ever heard was "Walking On The Moon". "Roxanne" was all over the place, but somehow I never managed to have the radio on when it was played.

The first Police song I recall hearing was "Roxanne," because people have sung it to me upon hearing that was my name as long as I can remember.
Seriously, though, what kind of awful parents name their daughter after a song about a hooker? And right when the song was a chart-topper, too. (I was born in December of '80.)
I hear the dress, IRL, is black and blue. I saw gold and blue-tinged white. Also, I thought it was ugly.

The dress thing was obnoxious, I agree. I must be a freak though. I saw a periwinkle blue/lavender dress with gold-ish trim.
