Apparently its sexist to ask women who deigned the free dress they are wearing in accordance with the contract they agreed to to promote the designer of the free dress they are wearing.
Cause everyone knows heterosexual men get off on 35 second discussions about design and fashion and therefore it must be stopped
This is a great piece from Big Mac about the Crusades thing. ~ Posted by: Crid [CridComment at Gmail] at February 23, 2015 10:01 PM
Liked the McArdle piece. Bloomberg's color palette needs some work, however.
I still question with what group of people the president expected his Crusades remark to resonate.
Did he toss it off because "everybody in my circle knows the Crusades are a prime example of Christian intolerance and hypocrisy?"
Or did he toss it off because, growing up in Indonesia, the Crusades were often used by teachers there as an example of Western imperialism and so were a handy reference point for him?
Or did he just have a lazy speechwriter?

Why is the word "problematic" all over Twitter this morning? Something to do with the oscars?

Interesting diatribe about genius and "dumbness."

The Scientific American article to which the author links is also interesting.

While I regard Lustig's sincerity as indisputable, Moynihan is righteously concerned here.
We'll never have enough drugs, but we have plenty of drug laws, thankyouverymuch.

Gog, loved that piece. And we're all cognitive misers. It just stands out more in some.
