'Bendy' as in changing the "facts" to suit the message. At least I guess that's why "global warming" was changed to "climate change".

You know, it's an easily remembered phrase, conveys a lot of information w/minimal words, and can be used for multiple scenarios.

At least it agrees w/the warning given by the "most trusted man in America".

But yeah. The global warming theory is constructed so as to be non-falsifiable. There is no weather event or circumstance which, if it occured, would constitute evidence against global warming. Even another Ice Age (which is not out of the question) would "prove" global warming. It's not science; it's religion.
