@ Gog - Just curious.
Does a parent have a responsibility to physically punish a child?
If yes, at what age does this responsibility end (10, 12, 14, 16?) (At some point the physical resistance may become an all out fight.)
If yes, is a slap mark too much?
If yes, does physically overriding the child/teen's resistance a small amount (just enough w/o causing treatable injury) constitute "abuse"? (An experienced martial artist can do a hip throw that is jarring but does cause harm. It looks awfully harsh but does not have to be.)
Conan the Grammarian: "...and they take his wife and then decapitate her head off...."
As opposed to decapitating her head on?
LOL. Oh, you noticed that little redundancy, too? Yeah, I got a chuckle out of that myself. I thought "decapitate her" would have been sufficient. Whenever I hear that someone's been decapitated, I assume that means the head came off.

Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson tells a delightful story of rape, murder, and mutilation of an atheist family. His point, apparently, was to illustrate his misguided notion that atheists can have no sense of morality.

You remember how the Apostle Paul used to bitch-slap and choke his uppity teen daughter?
Just nod your head at the preacher and back away slowly.

"does NOT cause harm."
Getting knotted up over "not" today.
