Unsurprisingly, Westboro Baptist Church is not happy with the Emerald Isle's recent decision to legalize gay marriage.

However, in their protests, they used the flag or Ireland...but upside down. Which means they were hating on the Ivory Coast. If they keep doing things like this, I'm going to start thinking they're not very bright.

(In fairness to them, they've been known to fly the U.S. flag upside down, to signify a nation in distress. That could have been their intent here.)

But now that I've looked at the flags of the Ivory Coast and Ireland, they don't actually look like upside down versions of each other. I guess the author of the link I posted has their head up their ass. Oh,well. The important part is that WBC is not happy, and even after the death of their patriarch, they're still going. I wonder how long that will last.

Whew! For a minute I thought we might not be getting tough in completing our Iran negotiations. Thought Kerry might be needing some backup.
