from Gog's article:
“The streets flood in the rain because there is no good drainage,” said Xia Zhiyan, a 42-year-old employee of a printing company. “They just built more and more apartments without the most basic facilities.”
Amazing how cowed the citizen's are when the all-providing government is the only choice.
Amy, the comment about vegans and bug feces was hilarious.
Meat. Always. I remember a story told by a newsman years ago from Texas. It was about his father in a restaurant. He ordered a steak, rare. When asked if he wanted a salad also he said dear, salad is what meat eats.
Apparently humanity is becoming some sort of insect culture.

Follow up to the Gawker story: Editor-in-chief Max Read and executive editor Tommy Craggs are both resigning from Gawker. Not because the Geithner story was published, but because the story was removed.

I R A, I was my distinct displeasure. It was all over my Twitter feed today. And I don't even follow Gawker. Everybody was retweeting this.
