Split personalities must give Libs an awful headache. They can't figure when to protect women or when to throw 'em under the bus.
Watched Juan Williams on last night's Factor (FNC) said it was okay for San Fran to not obey Federal law about keeping known felons that are illegal immigrants in custody even though asked to.
Cool. Cities and States get to pick and choose which laws they obey. SSM is "solved" for many at this point. Let's give SCOTUS more nap time shall we.
(Glad that was not the case on segregation at some point.)
In the last post I commented on "Bennies" and how we Jersey Shore locals can't stand them. It is only fair that they take a swipe at the Jersey Shore as well:
I've been on the fence about this whole Bill Cosby thing. Not anymore.

Better get that wee dog licensed, or you could end up jailed.

I have two thoughts on the Cos:
1. nothing in that article says he slipped anyone a mickey. I have no problem if he provides party favors, and are voluntarily taken with knowledge of what they are.
2. keep track of which of the Hollyweird types come out and slam Cos, and which ones of that number think Roman Polanski is some sort of fucking saint.

So he admitted he gave drugs to women who were willing to trade sex for drugs?
Doesn't make him a rapist.
And quite frankly if he is a rapist as far as I'm concerned so are victims number 1-21 of the 22 claiming they were raped.
If Cosby is a rapist then victim number 1 is thru her inaction culpable for rapes number 2-22
And number 2 is culpable for 3-22, and so on and so forth.
Show me a transcript where Cosby admits to drugging a woman without her consent or having sex with someone unconscious, and I'll be more than happy to call him a rapist.
But, sadly, due to our modern day version of the witch hunt, I just cant in good conscious condemn a man I dont know on the words of women I dont know.
Especially given the sheer number of verifiable false rape claims we see almost every week
The bottom-line is that students have a constitutional right to feel safe in the classroom
Quoting the author: A constitutional right? Did somebody pass a new amendment and not tell me? Or "your rights end where my feelings begin". Also, I have to wonder if this applies to men:
“If we think about what Title IX is about, it’s about ensuring that students have an environment free of hostility; that they feel safe, welcome, and secure on our campuses, and that includes our classes.”

It appears that the Nazgûl[1] now work for Google. A viciously nasty lawsuit involving the Google, the MPAA and the Mississippi AG office.
Also: a huge shock that a government official doesn't understand either the internet nor the First Amendment.
[1] from Slashdot back in '03 during the big NE power outage:
Not long ago, the Black Gate of Armonk swung open. The lights went out, my skin crawled, and dogs began to howl. I asked my neighbor what it was and he said, ‘Those are the nazgul. Once they were human, now they are IBM’s lawyers.’

This is what I've been saying:
"For every extra dollar available to students in subsidized federal aid, colleges raise tuition by an estimated 65 cents on average, according to a staff report released by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York last week. The paper, which studies tuition patterns following Congress’ decision to increase borrowing limits in the mid 2000s, provides some insight into a question economists and higher education experts have debated for years — whether boosting access to federal aid incentivizes colleges to raise prices by giving students more ways to pay for school."

The Texas Supreme Court makes a ruling in favor of less licensing in this case, for eyebrow threaders.

A couple of TSA gate gropers won't be prosecuted for their groping.
Odd.
