Yeah, I'd sure like to go that way too (as would, I'm sure, almost everyone.) And it makes me wonder what percentage of people go that way? Probably very small.
So they sued 4 separate companies, at 200,000K that roughly 50K per.
Which for a year or more of work is quite reasonable. Even at $100 per hour which is reasonable of a lawyer that is only 500 hours of work.
They got off light. Why shouldnt they bear the cost of a frivolous lawsuit?
If someone bought a baseball bat at Wal Mart and bludgeoned their daughter to death could the sue Spalding for making the bat? And Wal Mart for selling it? And the local Chevy dealer for selling him the car he drove to the crime? And Texaco for selling him the gas he used to get there?
Can we sue the Supremes for the "Citizens United" decision?
