Well, your brother in Nigeria is looking for somewhere to hide his vast fortune from forces attempting a coup. I'm sure if you give him your bank account information he will let you charge a reasonable fee in exchange for helping protect his wealth.

Trying to remember the last time the Catholic Church received such fawning coverage from the mainstream media. I'm guessing it would have been around 1950.

I was just on Doug McIntyre's KABC show talking about what idiocy his condemnation of capitalism and the ensuing progress are.
You know what Amy? I think it will! Your books seem to be selling well, you've got more and more TV appearances and other media mentions... I think it is happening for you. I am optimistic!
OK, maybe not the heiress-dream, but the American Dream dream.

Amy and others, in case you missed it, I thought you all would find this interesting. Call me crazy but this seems like a gross overreaction on the part of the Feds to a lot of innocent people in these states who just want to travel somewhere else.
"If Steven Spielberg were to stop you on the street next year and invite you to star in his movie on the condition that leave right now for the airport without stopping at home, your opportunity at fame and fortune would be squandered if you happened to be a resident of New York, New Hampshire, Minnesota, Louisiana, or American Samoa.
The reason: At some point in 2016 — the precise date hasn’t yet been announced — driver’s licenses from those states will no longer be considered sufficient to clear airport security and board an airplane."

So what if he tortured and enslaved Native Americans and forced them to become Catholics?

NicoleK, that is so sweet. I feel really grateful to be doing what I do and I'm so grateful to everybody who's bought my books and who reads my column.
Times are tough financially, but I am working and working and hope to be doing speaking engagements more often.
Also, in very happy news, my next book -- after eight very hard months -- just stopped trying to kill me. I'm now loving writing it. BlogDog very kindly read the chapter that I was worried about (it's become three short chapters) and reported that he understood all the science and actually got a lot out of it.
This helped the night terrors come to an end!
And qpd, that's crazy. Thanks for posting that link.

Seven states' licenses will be insufficient to visit Federal facilities like Savannah River Site. So much for job interviews. Strangely, ID theft is actually simple in applying for RealID.
And some still insist you shouldn't have to show ID to vote. Huh.

The Pope has canonized him, so you bleeding heart lieberals can just suck it!
