Well, if you search around a little on the Interwebs, you will find ISIS joyous at throwing a gay guy or two off a building (per Islam's command that gays be slaughtered).

When they're not busy butchering people they don't like, and they do things like read the Qur'an and pray to Allah, I wonder what emotions they experience? Is that joyous to them, or do they undertake those things with a pious seriousness?

I suspect it's the latter but, who knows, maybe when they pray to Allah, they feel the same sense of joy that Baby Boomers would feel if Lennon & Harrison arose from the dead (having aged gracefully, not all decomposed) and the Beatles finally got back together.
