John Kass asks an uncomfortable question of the Democrat leadership:

Have you watched the news about President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton loudly demanding justice in the Laquan McDonald case in Chicago?

No?

Me neither. I haven't seen word one from the mouths of Obama or Clinton about any of it. All I've seen are tepid, tapioca statements from their spokesmen.

That silence interests me. Sometimes, what politicians avoid, what they won't say, is more compelling than their dog and pony shows and photo ops.

See, they're not actually interested in "justice", they're interested in advancing their agenda and protecting their own. And Rahm Emmanuel is cut from the same cloth.

Meanwhile, in Germany: Firefighters in Osnabrück are kept busy rescuing people from really mortifying situations.

I don't know what those gizmos are actually supposed to do (and please, please, don't tell me), but if the risk of embarrassment is that damned high, maybe you ought not to mess with them.

Don't those Germans know how to...deflate themselves?
