Why does anyone dress like that unless paid to do so? I wouldn't even keep FREE clothes like that! Storage space is too limited for clothes that one would wear only for a very few days out of the year.

Clearly someone does not know how to dress - the patterns on the tie should line up with the patterns of the suit!

Oh, I dunno, I kind of dig the necktie!

This is why being a guy is so constricting. And not just because of the number of layers of cloth we wear around our necks when we put on ties. No one would think twice about a woman's dress made of material with that pattern. They'd either think it was nice, festive or ugly. But when a guy wears a suit like that, it's outrageous. Almost criminal. Even if it is appropriate for the season. You watch fashion shows to see what people are wearing on the red carpet. And the women are either raved or panned for their choices. But guys, you have one option.

Oh gosh...one of the partners in our law firm wore this to our holiday party, with white patent loafers. Here I thought he had it custom made! I think it's fun. But I would say it definitely takes a certain type of person - and personality - to be able to wear it well. I'll see if I can figure out how to link to a pic.

This takes the ugly sweater contest to a whole new level.
And he wonders why he's spending another holiday alone.

I'm pretty sure that's a violation of the Geneva Convention.

Now I fully understand why Anna Wintour is against "matchy-matchy" clothes.

More like I'd want to strike a "matchy-matchy" up against that.
